About Ell & Eve

Ell & Eve began with a love of creating beautifully scented candles for the home. What started as a small passion for candle making using fragrance oils quickly became incredibly popular, with customers loving the cosy scents and elegant pieces designed to bring warmth into their homes.

As my business grew, so did my awareness of what I was bringing into my home and around my family. My son began suffering with migraines that noticeably worsened whenever candles made with fragrance oils were burned. After researching synthetic fragrance oils more deeply, I discovered that many can contain ingredients known to trigger headaches, sensitivities, and irritation for some people. I realised I wanted something cleaner, gentler, and more natural for my family and for the products I created.

That moment completely changed the direction of Ell & Eve.

I decided to make changes at home first, creating low-tox alternatives for everyday living using natural ingredients and essential oils only. I began making homemade body products using nourishing ingredients such as shea butter, jojoba oil, and vitamin E oil, all naturally scented with essential oils. What started in my own home soon became products I wanted to share with others looking for more mindful, natural choices.

Sustainability is incredibly important to me. I discovered that many candle vessels and home fragrance containers are difficult to recycle due to wax residue and mixed materials. Rather than encouraging waste, I introduced refill options so customers can continue reusing their glass vessels again and again.

Most recently, I have introduced the personal care products I have personally been using and loving over the past year. Low-tox living and refilling products wherever possible has become a huge part of my lifestyle and the future of Ell & Eve. This collection includes everyday essentials such as:
